Your Google Business Profile Has a Q&A Board Too
When customers view your business on Google Maps or Search, there's a "Questions & Answers" section. Anyone can post a question here — and the key thing is that not just you, but other users can answer too. If you leave it unmanaged, incorrect info can end up looking like the official answer.
For example, if a stranger wrongly answers "Is there parking?", "Are dogs allowed?", or "Do you have an English menu?", that becomes the basis for a customer's decision.
Why It Matters
- It's info seen by customers who are about to buy. Questions often cover parking, bookings and prices.
- Well-answered Q&As cut down on phone enquiries.
- Q&A content also appears in search, giving you natural keyword exposure.
How to Manage It
1. Post your own FAQs
Google lets you ask and answer your own questions. Pre-fill things like "Do you have parking?" → "Yes, 3 free spots behind the building."
2. Turn on notifications
New questions are easy to miss. Enable alerts in the Google Business Profile app and aim to reply within a day.
3. Report wrong answers
Report incorrect answers left by others, or post the correct one and get it upvoted (helpful) so it shows at the top.
4. Keep answers short and friendly
Using both English and Korean helps customers on both sides.
Link It to Your Website FAQ
Common Q&A questions should also be organised on your website's FAQ page. Your Google profile handles 'discovery', while your website handles the 'detailed explanation'.
